The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is a series of poker tournaments held annually in Las Vegas and, since 2004, sponsored by Caesars Entertainment.It dates its origins to 1970, when Benny Binion invited seven of the best-known poker players to the Horseshoe Casino for a single tournament, with a set start and stop time, and a winner determined by a secret ballot of the seven players. Center aligned text?[edit]Someone changed the tables to align the text to the center. Personally, I think it looks better when it's aligned to the left, as on 2006 World Series of Poker Results. If you are referring to the 'fall of world champions', the article will be too long if we add that info for every event. That information is trivia, and this article is about the final table results. For full results, there are other websites people can find this info. Compare 2006 World Series of Poker results. It appears the WSOP and ESPN are content to call this the final table with 10 players, rather than the usual 9. Should we, therefore, add the 10th-place finisher to our results page?
